Kennedy Owino’s football journey saw him leave his club after six months without playing any matches. His impressive performances at Posta Rangers earned him a hero status and led to his transfer to Leopards. Born in Kano, Kisumu County, Owino’s move to the record Kenyan champions was seen as a dream move. Having played for teams that had not won a league title before, Owino found hope in joining K’Ogalo, a team that had clinched seven titles in eight seasons.

However, life at Gor Mahia did not go as planned for Owino, as he struggled to secure playing time. Frustrated with the lack of opportunities, he decided to leave the club and joined Posta Rangers.
