KCB FC and Bidco United played to a barren draw in a match at Nyayo Stadium. In another fixture, Murang’a Seal returned from the international break with a morale-boosting win against Nzoia Sugar, triumphing 4-0 in a match at the SportPesa Arena. The first goal of the match was scored by Joe Waithira in the seventh minute, setting the tone for the game.
Nzoia Sugar equalized just before halftime through Titus Kapchanga, but Murang’a Seal regained control in the second half. Coach Abdallah Juma’s substitution of Yusuf Ally with Dennis Kweyu paid off, as the team prevented Nzoia Sugar from creating numerous goal-scoring chances. Awita Batts and Maxwell Odada then secured the victory for Murang’a Seal, helping the team climb to ninth position in the FKFPL table.
Meanwhile, AFC Leopards drew 1-1 with Sofapaka at the Nyayo National Stadium, with Rodgers Kipkemoi scoring for Sofapaka in the first half before Victor Omune equalized for AFC Leopards in the second half. Lastly, Bidco United and KCB played to a draw in Machakos, with neither team managing to score.
