Nigeria’s Osimhen and Ivory Coast Hosts Ready for AFCON Final

Nigeria is aiming to win their fourth Africa Cup of Nations title, which would match the tally of their old rivals Ghana. Only Egypt with seven titles, and Cameroon with five, have won the Cup of Nations more often.

Ivory Coast, on the other hand, will match Nigeria’s three titles if they emerge victorious in the tournament for the first time since 2015. The Africa Cup of Nations is coming to a conclusion with Ivory Coast aiming to become the first host nation to win the title in 18 years when they meet Nigeria in the final.

The match will take place at the Ebimpe Olympic Stadium in Abidjan, Ivory Coast’s economic capital. Nigeria previously defeated the tournament hosts 1-0 during the group stage.
