Late Kapchanga strike salvages point for determined Murang’a Seal.

In a match played at the Police Sacco Stadium, Titus Kapchanga proved to be the hero for Murang’a Seal as he came off the bench to score an equalizer in the 90+1st minute, salvaging a crucial point against Kariobangi Sharks. The match had initially looked to be going in Sharks’ favor after Isaac Wasambo gave them the lead in the 31st minute.

However, Kapchanga’s composure and quick reaction to a loose ball inside the penalty area ensured that Seals were able to secure a draw. Murang’a Seal head coach, Dennis ‘Wise’ Okoth, praised the team’s strong character in coming from behind to equalize. He emphasized the importance of avoiding conceding goals and fighting to get back in future matches.

Throughout the game, Sharks dominated proceedings but struggled to find a second goal. Murang’a Seal goalkeeper, Munyasa, made crucial saves to deny Sharks on multiple occasions. Additionally, the hosts wasted clear-cut chances that could have sealed the victory.

In the dying minutes of the match, Sharks’ goalkeeper, Sesptianos Wekesa, failed to deal with a Naaman Balecho corner comfortably. He spilled the ball in the penalty area, allowing Kapchanga to capitalize on the mistake and score the equalizer. The late goal broke Sharks’ hearts and rescued a point for Murang’a Seal.
